The Kerala Wing of the Indian Social Club will be organising its twelfth edition of "Venal Thumpikal", a 4 day summer camp for the students from classes 5 to classes 12 on 13, 14, 20 and 21st of June 2014. The camp is meant to ensure fruitful utilisation of summer holidays and also to inculcate in children a liking and appreciation for arts and craft. The 4 days long summer camp will take the participants to a typical Kerala village created at the Indian Social Club Muscat, where they can play, sing and act.

This year's camp focuses on personality development and team building. Working around developing these traits in children the camp organisers have planned theatre, art & crafts, public speaking and debates, and introduction and appreciation of Malayalam literature and poetry as its activities. The activities engaged by experts and professionals from the field will include interactive sessions as well as theoretic inputs for each discipline.
